Your Attitude - JobAustralia

While approaches might differ between workplaces, and letting people know about your rules and preferences can show that you take your work seriously and like to know where you stand, it might be advisable to refrain from putting forward your conditions at this stage (unless of course you are offered something that conflicts with your interests).

For example, if you say, ‘I do not work on Saturdays’ or ‘I prefer to work from home on Thursdays’, etc. it might suggest that you don’t want the job enough to be flexible and accommodating.

If you wait until a decision has been made and you are presented with a job offer, it is much easier to add some additional clauses or negotiate in a delicate way.
